The volleyball team finished the season with yet another run to the state semifinals, where Woodward lost to Blessed Trinity. This finish for the War Eagles (27-12) ran their streak of semifinal appearances to 25 in a row, dating back to 1993 when volleyball was first contested in Georgia. The team was led by seniors Anaya Martin, Bridget Idzik, Ayana Martin, Tori Truesdell, Laine Hartman, Kennedy Crittenden, and Lauren Harrison. In addition to making the state semifinals, the War Eagles also made it to the semifinals of the Lovett Block Party, which was a highlight of the season. The War Eagles also went undefeated in region play, making them the 4-AAAA region champions. Harrison and Martin were selected as senior all stars and named AAAA All-State. Harrison, meanwhile, was named AAAA player of the year for the second straight year, a tremendous accolade.
