The Woodward girls ultimate team lost 9 seniors to graduation in 2017 and only had seven returning players.
An influx of young, energetic players – along with two new, enthusiastic coaches — gave the program new life. During the first tournament of the 2018 season, the girls matched their win total from the entirety of the 2017 season. They ended the year as the No. 5 team in the state of Georgia. With 17 players returning next season, the future looks very bright for the girls ultimate program.
