The Woodward riflery team finished the year 12-4 overall, which earned them a berth in the state playoffs.
Despite having to replace several shooters this year, Woodward finished the season with the second best average (1133 out of 1200) out of 16 teams in area competition. Junior Annalyn Smith led the team with a 290 average (out of 300) in 15 official matches. Smith finished as one of the top ten shooters in the state, earning her 2017 All State honors.
