The varsity boys tennis team finished a strong, competitive season with a trip to the 2017 AAAA state quarterfinals.
The War Eagles entered the state tournament as the No. 1 seed from region 4-AAAA after winning the Region Championship. The boys finished undefeated in region play and 13-7 overall. The team played an incredibly competitive schedule in 2017, facing five teams that played for their respective state championships. The boys were led by senior captains Andrew Pressgrove and Joseph Rafshoon. The team graduated seven seniors, but look forward to the 2018 season and a strong group of underclassmen that will return to seek a state title.
